I’m Just Here for the Students
Why We’re Here. If you ask anyone on our staff why they come to work each morning, you’ll hear some version of the same answer: we’re here for the students. If it weren’t for the students, none of us would be here at all.
It’s easy to forget that in the middle of a busy school year. There are schedules to keep, forms to file, and phones to answer. But every one of those tasks points back to a child who walks through our doors hoping to be known, cared for, loved, and challenged.
Across every Christian Preparatory Schools campus, that simple truth shapes how we spend our days. Teachers, office staff, principals, and directors all serve different roles, but we share one purpose: helping each student discover the gifts God has placed in them.
Every Family Has a Story. I have the joy of working with new enrollments for our school. It is truly one of the best parts of my job. Every week I meet families who are searching for a place where their child can thrive.
Some families come to us after a hard season at another school. Some are looking for a Christ-centered education for the first time. Others simply want their child to be seen as an individual, not a number. Every family carries a story, and every story matters to us.
When a parent sits down across from me, I’m not thinking about paperwork. I’m thinking about the child who will soon walk into a classroom, meet a teacher who prays with them by name, and begin a new chapter. Welcoming that family is a privilege I never take for granted.
Where We Live Jesus. At Christian Preparatory Schools, we Live Jesus. That’s not just a phrase on a wall. It shows up in small, everyday moments on every one of our campuses.
- It starts with prayer. Each school day begins with devotions, and teachers pray one-on-one with every student.
- It meets students where they are. Each child has an Individual Academic Plan, so the work is challenging but never overwhelming.
- It builds confidence. Our classrooms celebrate progress and encourage every learner, so no child feels left behind.
- It welcomes families as partners. From chapel services to the Thanksgiving Feast to end-of-year awards, parents are invited to be part of the journey.
These moments look a little different on each campus, but the heart behind them is the same. We believe every student is a gift, and our job is to help that gift shine.
Come See for Yourself. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:14, NIV). That verse is a daily reminder of why our doors are open.
To our current families: thank you for trusting us with your children. To families who are still searching: we would love to meet you. Contact any of our campuses to schedule a tour, and come see what it looks like when a whole school is here for the students.
