Laura Asen

My name is Laura Asen, Principal of Leesburg Christian Preparatory School (LCPS). I have been with CPS for three (3) years. When I started with CPS, I trained at the Poinciana campus under the council of Ms. Rivera’s and Ms. Rodriguez’s 6th grade class for one (1) month. Having become indoctrinated with the protocols of CPS and understanding the culture, I was asked to be the eleventh (11th) grade teacher. I continued to learn the ways of CPS as I worked along side of Mr. Diaz, the tenth (10th) grade teacher and Academic Advisor (AA). I was very intrigued with the Academic Advisor position; consequently, I diligently learned the process, the duties, and the importance of the Academic Advisor. At the Lakeland campus, I was a teacher, and was promoted to Academic Advisor position within a few weeks. As I worked diligently to fulfill all student academic requirements. I was then offered the opportunities to principal training for the next year. In January 2023, CPS acquired an additional campus in Leesburg. I was asked to visit the campus, and to the glory of God, I was offered the principal position. I accepted the offer and the opportunity to learn, grow, and become strengthened in the CPS ministry. My love and passion are to see my students grow, learn, and succeed at everything they set their minds to accomplish. I want to share Jesus with everyone I meet.
